Create a payload collection for a structure

You can create a payload collection for a structure. A payload collection is a set of variable and non-variable payloads and the CG limits envelope for a product configuration. It is used to generate an excursion plot.

Prerequisites

Your system administrator must have allowed the creation of a payload collection.

Procedure

1. Search for and open the structure for which you want to create a payload collection.
2. Click Weight and Balance.
3. In the Payload Collection section, click Create.
4. In the Create Payload Collection panel, enter a name and description for the payload collection.
5. In the Non-Variable Payload and Variable Payload sections, click Add to view the available payloads in a list.
6. In each section, select the applicable payloads and then click Add. If you do not see the payloads you need, you can create a payload.
7. In the CG Envelope section, click Add.

The available CG envelopes are shown in a list.

8. Select a CG envelope from the list and then click Add. If you do not see the CG envelope you need, you can create a CG envelope.
9. Click Create.

Results

The payload collection is created and added to the Payload Collection section on the Weight and Balance tab.
