Dispatcher logs

The Dispatcher sends request asynchronously to machines with the resource capacity to run the requests. A grid technology manages the job distribution, communication, translation, security, and error handling. Dispatcher requests are triggered by workflow, data checkin, batch mode, or on-demand operations. The Dispatcher component has the following logs, none of which require configuration. The LogVolumeDirectory is specified in the DISPATCHER_ROOT\AdminClient\conf\transclient.properties file. Log file and location within LogVolumeDirectory/Dispatcher Server/ Log contents task-ID/task-ID_m.log Dispatcher Module messages while processing the task. task-ID/task-ID_s.log Dispatcher Scheduler messages while processing the task. task-ID/task-ID_dc.log Dispatcher Client messages while processing the task. The Dispatcher Client receives Dispatcher Requests from the client and sends them to the Dispatcher Scheduler. process/Scheduler.log Scheduler messages. process/Module_ID.log Module messages. process/Adminclient.log Adminclient messages. process/History_DispatcherClient_IP-Address_port.log A history of events and state transitions performed on the requests. process/DispatcherClient_IP-Address_port.log Dispatcher Client process messages such as startup and cleanups. Note This application uses the service-oriented application (SOA) client framework library and therefore logs its service calls separately from the rest of its activity. See SOA client framework logging for more information.
