Delete a branch

You can delete a child branch when it is no longer needed in the system model project.

Caution: Deleting a branch removes it from the system model project and it can no longer be accessed. Make certain you are deleting the correct branch before proceeding.

Procedure

1. Search for a system model project and view the branch data in the Content work mode.

2. Click Manage Branches to open the Manage Branches panel and display the toolbar.

   Tip: Select Show All Branches from Show/Hide Branches to see all the branches for the system model.

3. Select the branch you want to delete and then click Delete Branch.

4. Click Delete when prompted to confirm the deletion of the branch.

The selected branch is deleted, and it no longer appears in the system model project.
