Introduction to FMS configuration files
FMS uses the following files to configure server-client file handling: FMS primary configuration file (FSC_HOME/fmsmaster_fscid.xml) See the FSC_HOME/fmsmaster.xml.template file for all available elements. FMS server configuration file (FSC_HOME/fsc.xml) See the FSC_HOME/fsc.xml.template file for all available elements. FMS client configuration file (FMS_HOME/fcc.xml) See the FMS_HOME/fcc.xml.template file for all available elements. FMS server configuration properties file (FMS_HOME\fsc.properties) See the FSC_HOME/fsc.properties.template file for all available elements. The fmsmaster_fscid.xml and fsc.xml files are located in the FSC_HOME directory (for example, TC_ROOT\fsc). The fcc.xml file is located in the FMS_HOME directory (for example, TC_ROOT\tccs). Grammatical elements provided within the FMS configuration files syntax are as follows: Substitution elements Use substitution elements such as $HOME within string values to simplify parameter specifications within the configuration file. Directory paths Directory paths may use either local computer conventions with forward or reverse slashes, or UNC style conventions such as //server1/share/volume1. Windows/Linux parameter values Specify separate Windows and Linux parameter values by using a vertical or character, for example, $HOME/FscCache|/tmp/FscCache.
