Prevent the complete expansion of a structure when it loads

By default, structures are expanded completely in the Active Workspace. You can prevent them from fully expanding by setting a closure rule in the BOM_closure_rule_name preference. By default, a structure is fully expanded when it loads. This is because the BOM_closure_rule_name preference does not have a value by default. To prevent the expansion of the complete structure, you can set a specific closure rule as the value of this preference. For example, if you set the value of the preference to BOMExpandSkipByItemType, documents and requirements are not displayed in the structure.
