Enable connections without interfaces in diagrams

For Visio diagrams, you can specify that connection shapes are glued directly to functions and logical blocks. With this setting, diagrams:

• Do not require interfaces for creating connections.
• Do not display interfaces that exist in the corresponding structure.

Note: Diagram templates must include the Hide Interface Shapes option.

Procedure

1. Choose Edit -> Options to display the Options dialog box.
2. Use the Search feature to display the Connected_ToRules preference in the Preferences List pane.
3. Under Current Values, select Network:Functionality.
4. Click Apply to commit your edits and keep the dialog open, or OK to apply and close it.
