Update a Usage BOM

There are several scenarios where you might want to update the information in a Usage BOM. For example, you might want to do this if the design BOM aligned to it has changed.

There are several ways to update the aligned Usage BOM, such as automated update and guided update. Note

Consider that a design BOM and a Usage BOM are released and aligned. Later, due to market requirements, the design BOM is revised and one or more child designs is modified (added, removed, or replaced). When you try to align the design BOM with Usage BOM, the child parts are modified accordingly, and the Usage BOM is always revised.

Procedure Open a Collaborative Product EBOM.

Click Edit .

Update the required information, and click Save .
