Setup Prerequisites
Set alignment properties using a utility
When you import design or engineering data, you must set basic alignment specific properties on the structure. You can use this utility to set necessary properties such as Part Required, Design Required, and Skip Alignment.
Procedure
Run this utility to set alignment properties using the following modes:
| If you want to... | Do the following: |
|---|---|
| Set multiple properties using an input file. | pma0_set_alignment_properties -u=Teamcenter_username -p=Teamcenter_password or -pf=Teamcenter_password_file -g=group -profile=prop.cfg -topitem=Top_ItemId Note: You must specify the internal names for the property and their values in the prop.cfg file. This sets the Part Required and Skip Alignment properties to false in the input BOM. |
| Set a single property. | pma0_set_alignment_properties -u=Teamcenter_username -p=Teamcenter_password or -pf=Teamcenter_password_file -g=group -prop=pma0IsPartRequired -value=true -topitem=Top_ItemId -override Note: This sets the Part Required property to true in the input BOM. |
(Optional) To override existing properties values, you can use the -override option.
