Associating custom notes to Systems Engineering objects

You can associate custom notes to the following Teamcenter objects for Systems Engineering:

• Requirement specifications
• Requirements
• Derived requirements
• Paragraphs
• Functions
• Logical blocks
• Trace links

When you attach a custom note to a Systems Engineering object, the attachment indicator appears in the Notes column of the Requirements view.

If the object containing the custom note exists in a folder, the custom notes are displayed when you expand the object (for example, expanding a requirement folder shows the attached custom note item, its revision, and dataset beneath it).
