Configure the properties that are editable when duplicating a structure

If your Teamcenter environment contains custom properties added to a business object that is used for creating a structure, you can configure the required custom properties so that the users can edit them when they duplicate a structure.

Procedure In BMIDE, identify the custom properties of the business object that must be editable. Mark the identified custom properties as editable for Save As and Clone operations in the Operation Descriptor tab. For more information, see how to make properties available for operations in clients.

Note The custom properties must be of the string, boolean, or numeric type. Deploy the BMIDE project. The users can edit the properties that are marked for the Save As operation when they duplicate and clone the structure.
