Edit a branch

You can edit main and child branches to change the name and update the description.

Procedure

1. Search for a system model project and view the branch data in the Content work mode.

2. Click Manage Branches to open the Manage Branches panel and display the toolbar.

   Tip: Select Show All Branches from Show/Hide Branches to see all the branches for the system model.

3. Select the branch you want to edit and then click Edit Branch.

4. Enter a new name and update the description.

5. Click Save.

The name and description for the branch are updated and the Last Modifying Date changes to show the date the branch was modified.
