Administer the web tier with the Teamcenter management console
An administrator can use the Teamcenter management console to dynamically view and change server and web tier parameters. The following procedure applies dynamic changes to running components, but does not permanently alter the component configurations and settings. Procedure Start the Teamcenter management console. By default, the address is http://host:8083/mgmt/console. Under Web Tier, select the web tier server you want to administer. Select Configuration to administer the web tier. Enter values for Retry Limit and Retry Delay and then click Submit to update the web tier pool. Select Log Levels to change logging for the web tier. Select Monitoring to manage and view the web tier monitoring metrics. See Web tier monitoring metrics for more information about the metrics. Web tier monitoring configuration files To make persistent changes, modify the configuration or setting in the Web Application Manager (insweb), regenerate tc.war, and redeploy tc.war in the application server. The web tier monitoring files webMonitorConfig.xml and webMonitorConfigInfo.xml reside inside the tc.war file (WEB-INF\lib\mldcfg.jar). An administrator can extract webMonitorConfig.xml and webMonitorConfigInfo.xml files and place them in the root folder of the application server, or update the webMonitorConfig.xml file inside the tc.war file. The web tier configuration file log4j2.xml resides inside tc.war file (WEB-INF\lib\mldcfg.jar). An administrator can extract this log4j2.xml file and place it in the root folder of the application server or update this log4j2.xml file inside the tc.war file.
