Open a diagram from another diagram

Note Microsoft Visio Professional must be installed on your computer; Visio Standard is not supported. The diagram owner does not appear in the diagram.

To open	Do this
A diagram for an object represented by a block shape in the current diagram	Right-click the shape and choose Open Diagram. If the selected object owns two or more diagrams, the Select Diagram to Open dialog box displays the diagrams — select the diagram and click OK. A new Visio Diagram view opens to display the selected diagram; the contents are automatically updated with changes in the structure since the diagram was last closed.
The parent diagram of the current diagram	Right-click a blank area on the diagram page and choose Open Parent Diagram. A new Visio Diagram view opens to display the selected diagram; the contents are automatically updated with changes in the structure since the diagram was last closed.
