Subnet/mask attributes in a client map
A subnet is a range of logical addresses within the address space assigned to an organization. Within the realm of FMS client map functionality, the subnet attribute is the base IP address. The mask attribute masks a requesting FCC IP address, then compares the results with the subnet to determine whether the requesting FCC address is assigned to a particular client map. The client map contains a set of FSCs to be assigned to the FCC. This mapping technique works if your clients can group their FCCs to numerically adjacent IP addresses, for example: Copy
