Retrieving volume information

Selecting one or more filestores from the tree and clicking Retrieve volume information populates the volume table with the following information for each volume associated with the selected filestores. Data Description Volume Name Specifies the name of the volume. Volume ID Specifies the volume ID. Parent ID Specifies the filestore ID of the parent filestore. If the volume is hosted on multiple filestores, all parents display in a comma-separated list. Severity Lists the possible severity levels: Low, Warning, Critical. The severity level determines the row color: Low is clear. Warning is yellow. Critical is red. If an FSC volume is offline, it is listed as Critical. Set severity levels with the TC_VOLUME_MONITOR_WARNING_LEVEL and TC_VOLUME_MONITOR_CRITICAL_LEVEL preferences. State Indicates the state as Online or Offline. % Full Specifies the percentage of space consumed on the disk hosting the volume. File Management System (FMS) does not maintain quotas at a volume level, thus two volumes hosted on the same disk display the same value. Total Size Specifies the total amount of space, both used space and free space, available on the disk hosting the volume. Free Space Specifies the total amount of free space available on the disk hosting the volume.
