Validating alignment

Teamcenter provides two tools to help assess alignment status: Accountability check Allows you to verify that all publish links have valid sources and targets. Incomplete links are reported as having missing sources or targets, indicating incomplete alignment work. Any occurrences of parts that do not require a design are reported as having a missing source. You can use the Requires Positioned Design property in one of the structure editor applications to identify such occurrences. Completeness check Allows you to identify part occurrences that do not yet have aligned design occurrences. The design occurrences must have a published transform and the part occurrence must have an associated primary design. In the case of flexible parts, a shape must be published. Unlike the accountability check, the completeness check excludes parts that do not require a design, for example, adhesives, lubricants, and consumables.
