Configure Teamcenter to define the default baseline type

You can configure Teamcenter to define if a precise baseline or a configuration baseline is to be created by default.

Procedure

1. From Launcher, click Preferences.

   If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.

2. Open the Baseline_precise_bvr preference and set a value to specify the default type for baseline creation.

   • Enter 0 to create configuration baselines by default. After setting this value, the Precise check box on the Baseline panel is not selected by default.
   • Enter 1 to create precise baselines by default. After setting this value, the Precise check box on the Baseline panel is selected by default.
   • Enter 2 to prevent users from creating the configuration baselines.
