Modify an Excel template

Procedure

  1. In the Home view, check out the Excel Template Revision item revision from the database.
  2. Click the MS ExcelX dataset.
  3. Click Open in the File Download dialog box — the template file opens in Excel.
  4. Modify the data in the template spreadsheet.

Caution: Properties with dynamic and cascading lists of values (LOVs) cannot be modified with live Excel.

  1. Save and close the spreadsheet.
