Working with derived default values

You can only observe the effect of derived default values when you have set the option defaults. For example, if you select the car type option and set the value to GLX, you notice the radio option is set to stereo as a result of the derived default IF car type = GLX, radio = stereo. Teamcenter shows the state of the radio option as potentially derived. It does not indicate the item the value is potentially derived from, as it could be derived from several items, depending on the option set first.
