Update properties of a design

You might want to update the properties of a design for many reasons, including to update its finish type and find number. By updating the properties of a design ensures that the design information is accurate, complete, and effectively communicated for downstream processes.

Procedure Open the design.

Click Edit .

In case of designs having a released current or older revisions and no design-part alignments, you can edit following properties without revising the design. If an alignment exists, you can first undo this alignment and then edit the properties.

Update the required information, and click Save .
