Creating designs and parts within a single structure

You can create a single structure using the Design Part business object and store both design and part information on the same item. You can manually create structures, duplicate existing ones, or import them from Excel. You can manage items within a structure by adding, editing, removing, or replacing them as needed.

You can create a structure using the Design Part business object by:

Manually adding child items to the parent item.

Duplicating an existing structure.

Creating a new structure from an existing structure.

Importing a structure. You can import a structure from Excel. You can also import structures along with their partitions from other sites.
