Tools to configure TCCS

You can configure Teamcenter client communication system (TCCS) using tools such as Deployment Center, Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM), the TCCS installer, and the Client for Office installer. The TCCS configuration options in these tools are similar. The remainder of the topics in Introduction to Teamcenter client communication system (TCCS) show how to use Deployment Center and Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM) to configure TCCS. Deployment Center In Deployment Center, add the Teamcenter Client Communication System component in the Components tab, and select the component to configure TCCS. Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM) In TEM, configuration panels for TCCS appear during installation of 4-tier rich client and the 2 and 4-tier rich client, especially if you choose Advanced options. Once TCCS has been installed, in the Feature Maintenance panel of TEM, you can use the options in the Client Communication System section to configure TCCS. TCCS stand-alone installer To install TCCS for a client other than the rich client, such as NX or Lifecycle Visualization, that needs to communicate with a Teamcenter server, from the installation source files run the tccinst.exe file located in additional_applications\tccs_install.zip.
