t2c_report_comparator

Compares the source and target site data .csv files created using the t2c_report_extract utility -function=extract argument. t2c_report_comparator identifies missing objects, extra objects, and attribute mismatches between source and target objects. .csv files in the source site folder are compared with files of the same name in the target site folder. The source and target folder files must be created for the same sets of objects. This utility is used as part of the process of migrating Teamcenter data to a newer version of Teamcenter. Syntax t2c_report_comparator -source=source_folder -target=target_folder -report_folder=report_folder [-h] Arguments -source Specifies the folder containing the source site .csv file containing data extracted using the t2c_report_extract utility. -target Specifies the folder containing the target site .csv file containing data extracted using the t2c_report_extract utility. -report_folder Specifies the folder in which the report files are saved. -help Displays help for this utility. Environment This utility works on any Linux or Windows platforms with Perl installed and in the path. Restrictions Use this utility to compare the source and target site data .csv files created using the t2c_report_extract utility in preparation for using the Multi-Site data_share utility to migrate data between different Teamcenter releases.
