Define the deep copy rule for baselines

Considering your business requirement, you might want to define unique deep copy rules that are used only when the baselines are created. This ensures that the baseline-relevant data is copied without affecting the other deep copy rules in the Teamcenter environment.

Teamcenter uses the Revise operation of the deep copy rules for creating the baselines.

Procedure

1. In BMIDE, open the project.
2. Open the required item revision or the custom business object and click the Deep Copy Rules tab.
3. Add a deep copy rule or edit an existing one using the following information:
   1. Select the Revise operation and the Fnd0IsBaselineOperationActive condition.
   2. Select a Property Type, Relation, Attached Business Object, and Action for the deep copy rule.
   3. Click Apply, and then click Finish.
4. Deploy the changes to your Teamcenter environment.
