How to recover corrupt rich-text requirement content
You can recover corrupt rich-text requirement content that was originally created using Microsoft Word, by converting it to plain text.
Caution: Any formatting or images included in the original rich-text requirement content are lost during the conversion to plain text. Only the text is retained in the requirement content.
Procedure
- In Systems Engineering, open the requirement structure that contains the requirement object or objects with the corrupt rich-text requirement content.
- In the Requirements view, insert the Content Type property column.
- For each requirement object that you want to recover the corrupted rich-text content:
- Select the structure line for the requirement object.
- Set the Content Type value to Plain Text.
The corrupted rich-text requirement content for the object is converted to plain text. You can now view or edit the plain text requirement content.
