Set up mandatory color code assignment at the assembly level

For color part generation, configure the system to make it mandatory for users to make a color code assignment at every less-finish assembly level.

Procedure

1. From Launcher, click Preferences.

   If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access.

2. Search for and open the Cb0EnforceColorCodeAtAssemblyLevel preference, and click Edit.

3. Change the default value of the preference to true.

   If the value of the preference is set to true, a color code is required to be specified at every less-finish assembly level. If the color code is not assigned to the less-finish assembly, the color parts will not be created for that assembly.

   However, if the value of the preference is set to false, it is not mandatory for the users to assign a color code for the less-finish assembly level. In this scenario, the color parts will be created with the default codes.

4. Click Save.
