Configure FMS to use asymmetric keys

Use Deployment Center to configure FMS to use asymmetric keys. Deployment Center generates and deploys the public-private key pair for use with Teamcenter and FMS. A public-private key pair and an administration symmetric key are generated corresponding to a specific Teamcenter site. To use asymmetric keys at sites already using symmetric keys, see Convert sites that use symmetric keys to use asymmetric keys. To use asymmetric keys for sites using Multi-Site, see Configure Multi-Site Collaboration to use asymmetric keys. In Deployment Center, configure FMS to use asymmetric keys as follows: Procedure On the Components tab, select the FSC Keys component. Under General Settings, check Generate New Keys. Enter and confirm the password to be used for the keystore (.p12) file that is created. Record this password for later use. Under FSC Keys Options, check Use Asymmetric Key (advanced) and click Save Component Settings. What to do next When you generate and run the Deployment Center installation scripts on the servers, the keys are installed.
