Compare substitutes

If you display substitutes as separate lines, follow this procedure:

Procedure Load the product structures with substitutes that you want to compare in two separate BOM windows. Choose Tools→Compare. The BOM Compare dialog box appears. Select the desired report options and the Single level (with substitutes) mode, and then click Apply. Teamcenter generates a BOM Compare report that compares the substitute parts as well as the primary parts.

Note You can only compare substitute parts with other substitute parts, not with primary parts. If you choose any other comparison mode, the results may be incorrect.
