About creating structures

Create a structure in Teamcenter by manually adding items, duplicating or saving existing structures, or importing structures from Excel or other Teamcenter sites.

You can create a structure by:

• Manually adding child items to a parent item.
• Duplicating an existing structure.
• Saving an existing structure as a new structure.
• Importing a structure. You can import a structure from Excel. You can also import structures along with their partitions from other Teamcenter sites.
