Understand which the occurrence property to use for mapping the BOM line property with the configurator feature. Arrange the columns of the work area so that the occurrence property column is visible. Create the mapping for the BOM property for which you want to set the properties: Click Edit to edit the occurrence property column. For example, AIE Occurrence Name. In the occurrence property column, set the value for the BOM line property. The BOM properties have display names or system names, and the system names are in the bl_xxx format. You must use the system names for the property. For example, if you choose the AIE Occurrence Note column to store the mapping and you want to set the value of the Motor Type family on the BOM line property, then enter the mapping in the <bl_occurrence_note=[Teamcenter]Motor_Type> format.
