Capturing a fixed data record in Excel

In the Export to Excel dialog box, the Static Snapshot output mode extracts the property data to a standard Excel file that is not synchronized with or connected to Teamcenter. Select this mode when you want to capture a fixed record of a structure as of a given time.

For example, you can:

• Export the current content of structure elements and save the file for comparison with subsequent revisions.
• Export structure elements hierarchically to show ongoing relationships within the structure.

You can save the export file and share it with others outside of Teamcenter, for example, customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You can send the file by e-mail and by fax.
