Apply the Structural view to system models

You can apply the Structural view to display object relations in a system model.

The Structural view displays the relations specific to a structure, and also all the child occurrences of those relations. For example, a structure with a parent object and five related child occurrences — you can click the child occurrences to see their related occurrences and subsequently display all occurrences related to the structure.

Procedure

  1. Open a system model.
  2. Click Relations, and then click Legend. The Legend panel appears.
  3. Click Views and select Structural in the Objects field. A diagram of the structure with all occurrences appears.
  4. (Optional) Click Apply Layout to apply the desired layout format to the diagram.
  5. (Optional) Select the objects and relations you want to display in the diagram.
