Configure the alignment and display of a part with multiple representations

Suppose that the engineering users want to use a part with multiple representations in a structure and the engineering users also want to see an impact of configurations (including revision rules and effectivity) on its 3D geometry based on the aligned design. In such a situation, you can identify and define a part for multiple representations.

Example Imagine that your organization manufacturers bespoke interiors of the airplane considering the customers' unique requirements. The engineering users want the First-Class Passenger Seat part named Custom Part with multiple representations. In such a situation, you configure the Custom Part for multiple representations.

Procedure From Launcher, click Preferences. If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access. Search for and open the FND0_CBA_SKIP_DESIGN_REV_CONFIG_CONDITION preference. Enter a value for this preference. For example, enter bl_rev_object_type:Ebm9CustPartRevision.
