Review the item paths and bounding boxes for a structure

You can first review the item paths, their count, and bounding box counts for the entire structure, and then you can set up Smart Discovery Indexing. You can review this information for big structures so that you can estimate and plan the time required for the indexing activity. Apart from the structure that is yet to be indexed, you can also review the item paths and bounding boxes for a structure that is already indexed.

Procedure

Run the following commands in Teamcenter Command Prompt to review the item paths for a structure:

smart_discovery_index -u=<user_id> -p=<password> -g=<group> -enable
smart_discovery_index -u=<user_id> -p=<password> -g=<group> -create -product=<product_id> -dry_run

Note: The command makes no changes to the database.
