Configuring the shared memory cache

You can enable shared memory cache for metadata using the Business Modeler IDE, Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM), and Deployment Center. To enable shared memory cache for metadata, select the Generate Server Cache check box in the appropriate location: If you are performing live updates and deploying a template in the Business Modeler IDE, select the Generate Server Cache check box. If you are using TEM to install or upgrade, select the Generate Server Cache check box in the Foundation Settings. If you are using Deployment Center to install or upgrade, select the Generate Server Cache check box in the Component Server component.
