Create a workset

A workset can be created for all structures, including those on which a partition scheme is applied.

Procedure

1. Open the structure that has variability data created using Product Configurator.You cannot create a workset for a structure that has variability data defined using classic variants.
2. Click New > Workset .
3. In the Workset panel, do the following: In the Type list, select either Workset or Workset Custom depending on whether you want to create a workset or a custom workset. In the ID box, enter an ID for the new workset. In the Revision box, enter a revision for the new workset. In the Name box, enter a name for the new workset. (Optional) In the Description box, enter a description for the new workset. (Optional) Click Add Project to assign a project to the new workset.
4. Click Add.

Results

A workset is created for your structure.

If your administrator has defined the settings, you can configure the structure in a workset using arrangements.
