Import the unstructured document for the first time

Procedure

1. In the unstructured document, click the Teamcenter tab→Requirements group→Flat File Import and choose Import New.

2. In the Import dialog box, select the Create Links box to create the trace links in Teamcenter after the import.

   If the Create Links box is not selected, no trace links are created after the import.

3. Click Import.

When the import is complete, the item ID of the new requirement specification created in Teamcenter is displayed.
