Associate a variability scope with a Usage BOM or a configurable part To share the variability defined for a product with other users to author part usages, you associate the product's variability scope with its Usage BOM. You can also associate the variability scope with a part that is set as Configurable Assembly or Generic Part.Procedure Search for Collaborative Product EBOM and open it.

In Variability Scope:

Click Add .

Search for variability scope, select it, and click Add.

You can associate only one variability scope with a Usage BOM.Similarly, select a part set as Configurable Assembly or Generic Part and add a variability scope. The variability scope that you add to the part must preferably be subsets of the variability scope that you added to the Usage BOM.
