requirements-management

The following occurs when you cut or copy a requirement object from a source structure and paste it to a destination structure:

  • The contents of the cut or copied objects are copied to the destination structure.

  • The properties of the cut or copied objects are copied to the destination structure.

  • If the destination structure includes indented levels, the level heading of the pasted requirement object is adjusted to conform to the destination structure headings.

  • The requirement objects that are cut from the source document are displayed with a red strike-through indicating they have been removed from the structure.

  • If you are cutting a requirement object from a source structure and pasting the same requirement object multiple times to a destination structure, duplicate occurrences are created in the destination structure in Word.

Note: Only the properties and content of the first occurrence can be edited. If you want to edit the content and properties of the second occurrence, you must Mark for Deletion the first occurrence.

When you save the document in Word, the structural changes are committed to Teamcenter.
