FSC read cache parameters

The following table lists the read cache parameters defined in the FMS server configuration file (FSC_HOME/fsc.xml). See the FSC_HOME/fsc.xml.template file for all available elements. Name Default value Description FSC_ReadCache Location $HOME\FSCCache|/tmp/FSCCache Defines the read cache location. The value is entered during FSC installation. All cache directories must be on a local hard disk. Cache directories cannot be on a file share directory or a mapped drive. Deployment Center: Specify the location using the Read Cache Directory field of the FSC component. Teamcenter Environment Manager: Modify the value either by running TEM in maintenance mode or by manually editing the fmsmaster_fscid.xml file. FSC_MaximumReadCache FilePages 40960 Defines maximum number of file pages in the read cache. FSC_MaximumReadCache Segments 9216 Defines the maximum number of read cache segments. FSC_ReadCacheHash BlockPages 2048 Defines the maximum number of hash block pages. Each hash block contains 128 hash entries. FSC_MaximumReadCache ExtentFiles 3 Defines the maximum number of read cache extent files. FSC_MaximumReadCache ExtentFileSizeMegabytes 256 Defines the size (in megabytes) of read cache extent files. FSC_ReadCache PurgePolicy age Ignored. Reserved for future use.
