Custom Notes view

Notes are used to capture issues, actions, questions, or other ad hoc types of information. They act much like yellow sticky notes on an object. For example, as issues arise a user can attach a note to the object to capture or document the issue.

Notes currently come in two types (although users can define other subtypes): custom notes and standard notes.

• Custom notes contain any content and are edited with Microsoft Word.
• Standard notes contain parameters and are typically the types that appear as standard notes on drawings.

1. Custom Notes view buttons — Displays the buttons for managing your custom notes.
2. Custom Notes view data — Displays all the notes created for the selected object.
