Reuse color parts You can reuse existing legacy color parts during the color part creation process. You can insert or create them in the context of the color code for Less Finish parts. Procedure Open an Assembly BOM or a Usage BOM with a variability scope attached, and go to the Content tab. Click Manage Color BOM . For each leaf-level part occurrence, double-click the Color Part column and select the required color part. You can only add an existing color part that satisfies the following criteria: The Finish Type property of the part must be either Color or None. The part must not be aligned to any design. The part must not be associated with any other Less Finish part. If the part is not newly created, then its color code must match that of the corresponding Less Finish part.
