In Client for Office, only one working revision can exist for an object. If another Teamcenter user creates a new revision of the same object concurrently with you, either through another live Word session or directly in Teamcenter, you cannot save your new revision of the object.

When you attempt to save the new revision, you receive an error message that your save action is stopped and cannot be completed because other users have edited this object and saved it while you were editing. In the Modified objects warning dialog box, the details of the object that cannot be saved are displayed. Click Close to close this dialog box and reopen the object for editing.
