Repropagate effectivity from a closed change notice using a workflow

You can edit and repropagate the effectivity for a closed change notice that you own.

Prerequisites You must be the owner of the closed change notice for which you want to repropagate the effectivity.

Procedure Select the closed change notice and click Release Effectivity .

In the Release Effectivity panel, edit the effectivity values and click Save.

Click Submit to Workflow .

In the Submit to Workflow panel, select the Effectivity Update Workflow template, and click Submit.

The modified effectivity value is repropagated to Solution Items in the change notice. Note This repropagation on a closed change notice works only when the solution items of the current change notice are not part of one or more other change notices as impacted items.
