Before you begin

Prerequisites You need Teamcenter administrator privileges to use the Volume Management application. If you intend to use hierarchical storage management (HSM), you need a third-party HSM tool. Enable Volume Management Volume Management does not need to be enabled before you use it. If you have trouble accessing Volume Management, see your system administrator. It may be a licensing issue. Note You can log on to Teamcenter only once. If you try to log on to more than one workstation at a time, you see an error message. Configure Volume Management Volume Management does not need to be configured. However, you can modify the following Volume Monitor preferences to change the levels at which volumes reach warning and critical states: TC_VOLUME_MONITOR_WARNING_LEVEL TC_VOLUME_MONITOR_CRITICAL_LEVEL Start Volume Management Click Volume Management in the navigation pane.
