Exclude specification types from the Import Spec wizard

Procedure

1. Choose Edit -> Options to display the Options dialog box.
2. At the bottom left, click Filters to display the Preferences By Filters page.
3. Under Filters, in the Search by preference name box, enter Import_Spec_Info_EXCLUDETYPES.
4. Select the preference in the list, then click Edit at the bottom of the right pane.
5. In the text box below the Values list, enter the type's internal name (from the Business Modeler IDE), then click the Add button to the right.
6. Click Save.

Note: When upgrading to a newer Teamcenter version, the preference utility should be run to ensure that the appropriate preferences are installed in the database.
