Set a variant rule

Procedure Click the Value box of the option you want to set (for example, engine). Teamcenter displays the allowed values for that option. Click the required value (for example, 1200). Teamcenter displays the selected value in the box and changes the state of the option from Unset to Set by User.

Note If you use an overlay, you can apply multiple saved variant rules (SVRs) to a BOM.
