Insert macros in an Excel template

Procedure

1. Verify that the custom template has the Teamcenter macro by pressing Alt+F11 in Microsoft Office Excel.
2. If the template does not have the Teamcenter macro, copy the Teamcenter macro from any out-of-the-box Excel template.
3. Add your custom macro code such that the Teamcenter macro is not affected, and its methods are not overridden in a way that causes different behavior.
4. Save the macro and the template.

Users can use the Excel template for both static and live sheets. Teamcenter preserves the macro in the generated sheet for both static and live export to Excel.
