Monitor and manage Dispatcher requests in Active Workspace
Use the Dispatcher Request Administration Console in Active Workspace to monitor, troubleshoot, and manage dispatcher requests across your environment. The Dispatcher Request Administration Console provides a centralized view of all dispatcher requests. Administrators and authorized users can identify failed or long-running requests, review logs, resubmit jobs, and remove obsolete requests. Access the console Locate the requests you want to manage View the details of a dispatcher request Refresh dispatcher request information Resubmit a failed request Delete requests that are no longer required Export requests for reporting or analysis Customize the table showing the dispatcher requests Procedure Access the console To access the console, from Launcher, click Dispatcher Console. If this option is unavailable, search for it. You can pin it from the search results for future access. The Dispatcher requests are displayed in a table and sorted by creation date, with the most recent requests shown first. Locate the requests you want to manage Use the filter or sort commands to find requests. To find Use this filter or action Failed requests Filter by state = TERMINAL Requests from a user Filter by Owner Requests for a service Filter by Service Name Requests for a provider Filter or sort by Provider Name View the details of a dispatcher request View the details of the dispatcher request in the following ways: Option Description Select a dispatcher request and click Information. The dispatcher request is displayed in the Information panel. Select a dispatcher request and click Open. The dispatcher request object opens in its own view. Refresh dispatcher request information To ensure the console shows the latest dispatcher request status, do the following: If you want to Do this Refresh the status of all the dispatcher requests Click Reload. Refresh the status of specific dispatcher requests Select the dispatcher request and click Reload. Resubmit a failed request If a request is in a terminal state due to a temporary issue, select the request and choose Resubmit. The request returns to its initial state and processing restarts using the original request configuration. Caution If the underlying issue has not been resolved, the request will fail again after resubmission. Delete requests that are no longer required To remove obsolete requests, select one or more requests and choose one of the following actions: Action Description Delete Removes the request asynchronously, and cleanup occurs in the background Delete without trace Deletes the request and its complete history from the database Export requests for reporting or analysis To export dispatcher requests: Select one or more requests and choose Export to Excel . In the Export to Excel panel, choose and arrange the properties. Click Export. Configure the table showing the dispatcher requests To add new object types, properties to the table, and perform other table configurations: Click Table Settings, and then click Configure Table . In the Table Configurator , select the table configuration and then modify the table configuration.
