Install Systems Engineering

Procedure

  1. Start Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM).

  2. Select appropriate options until you reach the Features pane.

    Note: The configuration installed is dependent on the options that you choose in the Solutions panel of the TEM installation windows, such as Corporate Server, Rich Client 2-Tier or Rich Client 4-Tier, and Business Modeler IDE. You can also add any of the options available in the Solutions panel from the Features pane.

  3. In the Features panel under Extensions, expand Systems Engineering and Requirements Management and select the following features.

Feature Description Prerequisite features
Teamcenter Extensions for Microsoft Office Installs Teamcenter Extensions for Microsoft Office. Teamcenter Foundation
Requirements Manager Installs the optional Requirements Manager support in the Systems Engineering application. Teamcenter Foundation
Systems Engineering Installs the optional support for functional modeling and budgets in the Systems Engineering application. Teamcenter Foundation
  1. (Optional) To configure your system using the Business Modeler IDE, do the following:
    • Click Next, and then select appropriate options until you reach the Business Modeler IDE Templates pane.
    • In the Business Modeler IDE Templates pane, select the following options:
Template Description
Teamcenter Foundation Installs the Teamcenter Foundation template.
Systems Engineering Installs the Systems Engineering templates.
  1. Click Next, and then select appropriate options until you complete the installation.
